Innovating Wash Day
The Birmingham inventor of expanding laundry equipment has had the chance to develop his ideas further with the help of academics at Wolverhampton University. Chris Piponides came up with the concept for a washing machine that extends to provide up to twice the standard capacity, but that takes up no more space than a standard machine when extra capacity isn’t needed.

Innovation Vouchers, individually worth £3000 each to SMEs are designed bring businesses together with universities to make knowledge and academic expertise easily available.
