Getting on with Google

Once you have an effective website to showcase or sell your wares, the next obstacle is driving traffic to it. Google has clearly emerged as the search engine of choice, and what websites need to do is make themselves attractive to Google’s ‘spiders’ that continually trawl the web to discover and catalogue new content. You can help this process by regularly updating your site, and with the careful planning of copy and design. It used to be a dark art, but now it’s much more scientific.

Adwords is another Google phenomenon, which allows website owners to become advertisers, paying for each click through from a Google search page to their own site. Pay per click is another scientific process, which needs to be teamed up with some talent to make sure that the clicks that you pay for are the right ones. And that’s where the talented Ward Lovett team can help. Every single client-facing one of them, has gone through Google’s Adword training and have become accredited Adwords Professionals. They’re able to put together online pay per click campaigns that deliver results.

Our web team are unusual – not because of their computer geekeyness, - but because they are Google Analytics Professionals. You would expect most web companies to have people of this calibre, but regrettably, not all do. This level of expertise for most of us, is reassuring, but is far more technical than we’ll ever need to know. The part you’ll be keen to know is the benefits on your return on investment.

As well as the traditional accreditations with the Newspapers and broadcasters, the company is accredited by Google too – we’re an Adwords Qualified Company.

One of our knowledge hub sessions will include information on pay per click and Google. For more information, or to request a place, please contact us.
