A Willenhall DAF truck dealer has promoted one of its sales team to the position of Retail Truck Sales Manger. 42 year old Rob Binnion from Finchfield, Wolverhampton has worked with Greenhous Commercials for 7 years and takes up his new role at a time when the economy isn't booming. He said: "I'm delighted with my promotion and the challenges ahead. Despite the economic climate, for many different reasons, people are still buying trucks. Goods still need to be transported and most of the things that we buy have been transported by truck. What we have to remember is that the wheels of industry  have only slowed down, they haven't stopped.

Surprisingly, Rob describes truck sales as a people business: "Our industry is as much about service and trust as it is about the vehicle. Trucks need to be inspected, or serviced on a regular basis, which means that our customers have a strong reliance on the service that our engineering team provide, we can't afford to just sell and forget.
