Aston Business School Hosts Teamworking Conference

The 12th International Workshop On Teamworking (IWOT) has been held at Aston Business School in Birmingham this week. The 3 day event brought together top international scholars and experts to look at how teams work within organisations.
Professor Michael West, Executive Dean at Aston Business School who was one of the keynote speakers said: "Team-based working is increasingly being seen by organisations as the best way to utilise the resources and skills of their employees and research on team working is increasingly relevant to ensure organisations make the best use of the knowledge available. This workshop provided inspiring insights into team dynamics, translating the significance of team working in business and organisational settings. I believe we all learned something.
Other internationally renowned speakers delivering keynote presentations included Professor Daan Van Knippenberg from Erasmus University, Netherlands and Professor Cary Cooper from Lancaster University.
