TC Harrison's Family Fun Fair

TC Harrison's Family Fun FairAround 1200 visitors enjoyed a free family funfair in Derby yesterday, as TC Harrison the Ford dealer moved back the car displays at their Pride Park site, to make space for dodgems, a traditional carousel and other fairground rides. Throughout the day, the sun shone and the crowds enjoyed themselves. The longest queues were for an amazing big wheel, which thrilled and delighted riders with some unexpected speed!

The event, which was planned as part of the company's 75th anniversary celebrations, attracted visitors from right across the region and included customers, staff and families who just wanted an great afternoon out. General Manager Garry Hawksworth said ""We have a great tradition of staff and customer loyalty at TC Harrison, and today is all about getting them and their families together to enjoy themselves. It's a delight to see so many faces we know, as well as being introduced to plenty of new ones. There are kids, parents and grandparents and everyone looks like they're having a fantastic time. It's nice to know we've been able to put on a family event that isn't just for car buyers or motorists, but judging by the youngsters on the dodgems, everyone seems keen to get behind a wheel.""

The entire Ford range was on display, including a special sneak preview of a Focus cabriolet which had been especially shipped in for the day, along with a display of small JCB equipment from TC Harrison's JCB division, which proved popular with lads and their dads.
